The story begins with a brother and sister, Stephen and Holly, being curious about do our pets go to heaven? This deep thinking was brought about by the death of a friend’s dog. After a family discussion, their father suggests they go to their friend and parish priest, Father Lewis. What ensues is a delightful discussion with Father Lewis and Stephen and Holly. The answer is full of insight, hope, and promise for young readers.
